Topps Image Universe Founders Series (1995)

With WildStorm building a very successful trading card business in the mid-90s, it was difficult for an established brand like Topps to find their way into the Image Comics market. However, they did just that in 1995 when all six Image founders agreed to collaborate on a set published by Topps. The base set is divided into six sections, each focusing on a different Image founder. Techinically two chase cards exist for this set (Topps considered the First Issue and Interview cards as one insert set with a 1:7 ratio which we have adjusted for below). The other set is a clear chrome set with each founder featured next to one of their characters.
